The famous Dragon Age is now entering the world of mobile games with the Heroes of Dragon Age through its PC version RPG. This game uses a card battle-like system as well as an energy system that is very common in mobile games. So what about that game so special that I decided to review it? Well, you must read it yourself to find out.
You will be immediately familiar with this game for the people who have played the Dragon Age PC version, because many of the similar elements, from the storyline to the characters, are used. Although I call it a story, the heroes of the Dragon Age have little to say about stories, only a brief summary of each period of the Dragon Age.
You must make up your team of 4 people (2 back/2 front) and 1 companion. This Companion can be like animals or other great creatures. What is quite unique is that the characters you put in front of you receive 2 times the bonus, and the characters you put in are 2 times the loss. You must therefore be careful from here about the status of each hero and put it in the right position.
When the fight begins, you can’t do anything, because your character attacks automatically. But the sequence of attacks is determined by your hero’s speed. The faster the hero will attack, but usually a quick hero has little damage so the balance is kept.
This game is divided into two main modes, search and fighting mode. Both use a separate energy system so that you can play battle mode when you have run out of energy in the search mode. Battle mode is basically PvP, so you’ll fight other people characters in the leaderboard to reach the highest rank.
Friendly System For IAP
The Heroes of the Dragon Age overall gameplay is quite standard and will be more attractive for those who never played a Dragon Age PC version. So where’s the thrill? Heroes of the Dragon Age is presented in 3D presentations, in fact, but the quality is fairly standard. Not too good, but not too bad, but the coding is a bit “dirty,” because it lags sometimes when played on the iPhone 4S. Infinity Blade II, which is much better in graphics and also larger in size, has not even lagged on the same device. The interface and navigation are quite interesting and easy to understand because in this game you really can’t do much.
Pricing & IAP, you can just purchase a new hero in a shop. This may seem very gullible given that there are several other games that enable you to get a hero by fighting enemies. But when you play, you realize that this game is good. Hero has to be bought through the shop, but you can still buy the money that you normally get from playing and the price is even cheap.
Besides, you can re-start the search on the Heroes of Dragon Age to get a very decent amount of diamond (IAP currency). So far, I have $9.99 without buying a diamond. The key is to restart the diamond search.
Verdict, Dragon Age Heroes is not a new game, even this game uses a mainstream formula. But while other games attempt to chock you with an impressive IAP, Dragon Age heroes are going to make you want to purchase a premium pack voluntarily.
This game brings you late in the game casually and provides the IAP as an alternative. But the longer the game becomes harder and there will be a point where you start to be frustrated but you are far away at the same time, and it is unfortunate to stop. However, it’s not too fast to take it easy and you’ll enjoy the process.
