You can change characters in a battle, and when you switch, they will make a move. In this game there is a weakness triangle system where certain enemies are weak with attacks from Kianas, while others are weak with attacks from May.
Kiana and her friends are equipped with Stigmata, besides the different weapons, a system which allows them to place the spirit of the past within their bodies. Stigmata gives additional status to attacks, even to the defense of certain abilities. One character can install three stigmas that are limited to a certain loadout number to adjust the game balance.
