Easy Storyline
Dungeon Boss is a RPG that respects all heroes. My journey to find the best mobile platform RPG seemed endless. Almost all of the RPGs I play are different but have the same taste on the outer skin. Boss Dungeon, however, is a strategy-style game that seems to be taking unusual recipes from a sea of free to play mobile RPGs that have recently flooded the market. Why do I say uncommon? I wasn’t welcomed when I first played this game with cool history and constructive dialogs we normally encounter in similar games, such as Summoners Wars, Brave Frontier and Hello Hero.
Actually, I’m only asked to enter a username when I reach level 10 (later it will be discussed further). The only one who welcomed me at the start of the game was an anonymous woman whose job was to guide me. The funny thing here is that although it is RPG genre, in the Boss Dungeon, I don’t feel like playing any character role. This is the right step for me who don’t worry too much about the story, which is sometimes not important, as Bossfight Entertainment is the developer. But if you take the story into account when selecting a game to play, perhaps Dungeon Boss isn’t for you.
While I say otherwise, Dungeon Boss still mainly has gameplays similar to similar mobile strategy games. There are several objectives you have to achieve in the Boss Dungeon. First of all, you will take the hero to play, secondly, you will conquer the area by eradicating enemies from all levels, and lastly, protect your property while depriving other players of the property in My Dungeon. There’s one thing I like about Boss Dungeon that’s how players have to appreciate every hero they have.
You can in a sense not sacrifice a weak hero to elevate your flagship hero’s level. Every hero who has fulfilled the conditions set can perform Ascending rituals that will make your hero’s look cooler. Furthermore, hero skills will also increase. Each hero has special characteristics or abilities that make him different from other heroes. One hero has features that always make him attack the first turn. Other heroes have characteristics that make him immune from debuffs. Each hero also has special movements, with unique effects, to bring different results to each hero formation you use. So, you don’t have to fear investing many things in order to improve a hero’s ability as each hero has the same potential to be the strongest. Dungeon Progress Flat and Confusing. Boss Dungeon has many conquerable areas.
One area has multiple levels to be won before you move to the next area. Every time you complete one level, various useful items will be rewarded. You can also take tokens that are useful for opening new heroes. What the Dungeon Boss lacks is the essence of conquest of an area. There is no clear objective to complete existing levels except to achieve new items and fight stronger enemies. That always makes me wonder, after what? In fact, there is a boss at the end of every level which drops a chest containing valuable items. But sometimes I can also see big dragon-shaped bosses in one area and in the middle of a level that do not differ in strength from ordinary bosses.
Unlock Higher Level New Features
The appearance of this dragon boss clearly confuses me with games that have no storyline. Make your level the best, As I said earlier, I was only asked to enter the desired username at level 10. The My Dungeon feature has just been opened at the same level. My dungeon is a place where you can open your own dungeon, which is a gold mine that is the game’s currency. Here you must keep your gold from attacking other players while attacking dungeons of other players. Apart from gold prizes, there are ratings for each player’s level. The top three players in the same level will receive attractive prizes like tokens and gems during a period. You don’t have to worry about fighting high-ranking players to become champions.
Speaking of gems, if you don’t have an IAP transaction it’s not a free to play game. As a special exchange tool, Dungeon Boss has a gem to obtain new heroes, buy different items and access specific features. But as long as I play, there are many ways to get gems, including completing searches, conquering local levels and logging every day. The existence of an IAP does not necessarily distort the game. Bad Porting, Bad Porting I should’ve been discussing the graphics and appearance of the boss dungeon from the beginning, but I chose to write it here for a particular reason. Boss Dungeon is a bad porting game. It is worth noting that I am not concerned about the developer’s decision to port from iOS to Android.
The problem is the performance. First, my frame rate always falls and is not stable throughout the game. Second, the game resolution isn’t well optimized so on my Android tablet screen it looks very bad. The iOS version had no similar problems from the gameplay I watched on YouTube. I only hope the developer will make some effort to optimize the Dungeon Boss’ performance on the Android platform.

My final conclusion is that Boss Dungeon is a fun game that makes me feel like I’m playing in my own living room. Unexpected and interesting hero designs, instead of standard IAPs, and a strong PVP system lead to Dungeon Boss standing out as one of the latest strategic RPGs to look out for. The mediocre game performance on Android is enough for me to abandon the game. It is possible, but only if the Boss Dungeon for Android is optimized by the developer.
